Newspaper circulation set for Asian rise
Newspaper circulation in Asia will undergo double-digit growth in the next four years while sales decreases in Europe and North America will slow following two decades of decline, the World Association of Newspapers predicts in a new report.
Better reader marketing techniques and demographic shifts will be responsible for the improvement in newspaper sales, WAN says in "The Value-Driven Newspaper," a strategy report produced in the association's "Shaping the Future of the Newspaper" (SFN) project.
