Monsoon reports 32% profits increase

Fashion chain Monsoon today reported a 32% lift in profits over the last year on the back of strong sales growth and new store openings.

The group, which has 256 Monsoon and Accessorize stores in Ireland, the UK and Jersey said pre-tax profits rose to £32.1m (€51.1m) for the year to May 25 while sales jumped 18% to £203.6m (€324m).
