Qwest mulls erasing more than $1bn from 2001 sales - report

Qwest Communications International Inc is considering restating its 2001 results, erasing more than $1bn (€1bn) in revenue in a bid to restore the company's damaged credibility, the Wall Street Journal reported in its online edition, citing people familiar with the matter.

Qwest is facing a criminal probe by the US Attorney's office, which prompted ratings downgrades from major credit agencies.
