Gresham Hotel Group PLC said it has today received a requisition from shareholders holding not less than 10% of the company's shares calling for an extraordinary general meeting to remove four directors from the board.

Gresham Hotel Group PLC said it has today received a requisition from shareholders holding not less than 10% of the company's shares calling for an extraordinary general meeting to remove four directors from the board.

The shareholders are seeking the removal of Patrick Bourke, David Bunworth, Sean Henneberry and Laura Magahy.

They are requisitioning the appointment of Tom Byrne, Harvey Soning and Amos Pickel as directors.

They also call for any person other than Donal Chambers, Patrick Coyle and Robert Bastow who is a director of the company at the commencement of the said extraordinary general meeting in addition to those named above be removed from office as directors of the company.

The shareholders calling for the EGM are Euro Sea Hotels NV and Hapoalim Nominees Ltd.
