New software company launched in Dublin

A new software company, Tmarc software was recently launched in Dublin to help organisations manage files more effectively and abide by the Data Protection Act.

This would help companies reduce the financial costs and implications of ineffective and sloppy management procedures in managing hard and soft copy files.

According to one of co-founders of the company Tina Byrne: "Recent Tribunals have emphasised the importance of companies being able to locate files and documents.

"The Enron scandal has also emphasised the need for organisations to be able to access records".

The company's first product is a records management software application called ArcLink. Likely customers for the product have been cited to include government departments, SME's and financial institutions.
