Easy Jet buys out rival Go

Budget airline, Easy Jet, has struck a £374m (€598m) deal to buy low cost rival, Go.

Confirmation of the takeover comes just a fortnight after talks were first revealed.

Easy Jet says that the Go name is likely to disappear in due course as it brings the two firm’s operations together.
