Network365 joins global mobile commerce alliance

Network365, a developer of wireless application platforms, which enable mobile functions is to play an important role in the worldwide development of standardised payment systems for mobile services and devices.

Network365 has joined a global Mobile Commerce Alliance of leading industry players called Paycircle, whose members include Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies, Siemens and Oracle.

Network365 will work with these and other companies to overcome one of the biggest barriers to m-commerce, the lack of standard payment interfaces and protocols.

Paycircle will promote the growth of m-commerce by making payment transactions easier for mobile users.

Easy mobile payments is fundamental to the success of m-commerce and, consequently, to new services brought by new mobile technologies such as GPRS, EDGE, UMTS (3G) and i-mode.
