Compaq Galway Wins Award for Business Excellence

Compaq Global Services, the $7.8bn (€8.5bn) services division of Compaq Computer Corporation, today announced its Galway European Software Acquisition team won Microsoft’s annual Pan-European award for operational excellence.

Compaq's European Software Centre (ESC) is located in Galway. The centre focuses on three main areas; Software Business, Sales and Marketing support in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Software Research and Development.
