eTel launches International Network Operations Centre
eTel Group, a corporate telecommunications service provider for Central Europe, has announced the launch of its International Network Operations Centre [iNOC] to serve Central Europe.
Located in Frankfurt, Germany, this facility was set up to manage eTel's Central European 6-country network and connect it to the global telecommunications infrastructure.
Frankfurt was chosen as the location for the iNOC as this is an existing eTel point-of-interconnect and the city is among the largest telecoms hub centres in Europe, with one of the highest concentrations of carrier voice and data traffic.
The Centre monitors the network on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis, providing co-ordinated round the clock management and support.
Commenting on the launch of the eTel iNOC, Sean Melly, CEO of eTel Group said," Our integrated network gives us a unique Pan-Central European capability, making eTel the ideal communications partner for multinational companies in the region."
eTel was set up in 1999 and focuses exclusively on the Central European countries of the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
