Eircell fully integrated into Vodafone

Vodafone Ireland says that its Key Performance Indicators for the three month period to March 31, 2002, show that its integration into the Vodafone Group, with full re-branding is complete.

It now has 1,704,000 customers, 58% market share.

It says that it has the lowest inactive customer base amongst the Vodafone Group.

During the quarter, in January, Vodafone launched Ireland's first GPRS service and submitted a bid for a 3G licence.
