Automsoft receives €6m funding

Irish software company Automsoft has received €6m in second round funding in a deal led by IDG Ventures Europe.

The funding round also included Cross Atlantic Capital Partners.

Automsoft builds database software that bridges the gap between process control and enterprise systems.

Its products are built on Microsoft Windows NT technology with extensive support for internet capabilities.

In 2001, the company was nominated for the Technical Innovation Award in the Irish Software Association's annual awards.

The company has offices in Dublin, New York and the UK.
