UTV mounts bid to buy Limerick radio station
Ulster Television has announced its intention to acquire Limerick’s Live 95FM radio station.
The acquisition, valued at just less than €16m, is subject to approval by the Broadcasting Commission.
Live 95FM began broadcasting in 1997 and has built up a market share of 38% and a listenership of 90,000 each weekday.
UTV already owns Cork 96FM and 103FM.
