Infocell wins deal with Manchester transport authority
Irish company Infocell has won a € 3.12m contract with the Greater Manchester Transport Authority.
It is to supply the authority with its real-time passenger information system to bus companies in the Manchester area.
The company's Centurion real time passenger information system enables transport companies to inform passengers of the time of the next service.
Infocell, based in Dublin, also has operations in Northern Ireland and in England.
The company was formed in 1995 to bring together the internet, digital wireless networks and modern relational data bases for industry specific industries.
