Dell sees no short term recovery in demand

In a meeting with analysts, Dell COO Kevin Rolllins said that there was some increase in demand for Dell PCs.

However, this increase had been slight and due mainly to Dell's pricing being more competitive than rivals such as Compaq rather than to an overall recovery in demand.
