Aspera to work with Cara

Cara Group, has selected Aspera Solutions to supply and implement the 'e by Epicor' management information system.

The system, which encompasses CRM, Financial and Logistics modules, should assist Cara Group in improving efficiencies across its business.

Founded in 1968 Cara provides technology solutions, particularly in the areas of network integration, storage, security, enterprise systems and professional and managed services.

Total revenues last year amounted to €67m. The CARA completed a management buy out from Bull in February, 2001. Equity was supplied by Hibernia Capital Partners and the bank debt by AIB, in a deal worth €33m.

Aspera Solutions is an Irish supplier of management software and e-business solutions, which includes the iRenaissance suite of applications.
