Lagan Technologies to create 60 jobs

Belfast-based CRM (customer relationship management) provider Lagan Technologies is planning to create 60 new jobs over the next two years.

The company has concluded an equity funding round led by Crescent Capital.

Lagan currently employs 50 people and the company said that it will use the funding to expand its sales and marketing operations which focus on the government, telecommunications, retail and financial services sectors.

Lagan's Java-based CRM solution, FrontLine, was recently chosen by Birmingham City Council as a key technology in its e-government system.

FrontLine will allow Birmingham residents to register enquiries and complaints, make bookings and order services. Other Lagan customers include Ulster Bank, Guernsey Telecom and Jordan-based JMTS/Fastlink.
