SmartForce chooses Compaq as IT provider

Compaq has been chosen by SmartForce as its technology provider for storage and IT infrastructure.

The three-year contract is for the supply and installation of a Compaq Storage solution and is a joint win with ITG Computers.

The solution based on the latest Compaq SAN technology, will enable SmartForce to migrate its existing server platform from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000.

It will also allow SmartForce to consolidate its storage infrastructure and develop its disaster recovery capabilities.
