Eircell changes name

The country's largest mobile phone operator is undergoing a major revamp this morning, as Eircell officially changes its name to Vodafone Ireland.

The company is insisting it remains as committed as ever to Irish consumers.

The former semi-state company was bought out by Vodafone last year.
