Jaguar to use EDS software in Formula One car
Jaguar Racing and EDS have signed a technology sponsorship agreement through which EDS software will drive the digital design of Jaguar Racing's Formula One cars.
Under the three year agreement, terms of which were not disclosed, EDS becomes an official technology partner to the Jaguar Racing Formula One team.
Jaguar Racing is using product lifecycle management [PLM] software from EDS for the design and evolution of its racing cars, which compete in the 2002 Formula One racing season that begins on 28 February at the Melbourne Grand Prix.
