Openet signs alliance with ICL

Openet Telecom and ICL, part of the Fujitsu Group, has announced the signing of a global alliance agreement.

Under this joint business initiative, Dublin company Openet, a provider of convergent mediation solutions, becomes a preferred ICL partner.

ICL will sell and integrate solutions based on FusionWorks, Openet's convergent mediation system.

Openet and ICL are working on their first joint client, a pan-European business carrier offering traditional and next-generation IP services.

Openet's FusionWorks has the capability to handle traditional circuit-switched infrastructure as well as the wide variety of emerging next generation networks, including GPRS, UMTS, and other IP network infrastructures.

ICL has developed experience in delivering mediation systems to clients which include BT.
