Elko signs €3.5m deal with Tafanel
Ellko, an Irish provider of software solutions and services for the European hospitality industry, has launched its enterprise management solution in Paris.
It also announced a deal with Tafanel SA, an independent French beer distributor to introduce the solution to its clients.
The deal is estimated to be worth in excess of €3.5m.
Ellko's enterprise management solution [EMS] will enable Tafanel SA's clients to address their management and business needs through front-of-house devices such as standard touch-screen cash registers or any internet browser.
Ellko EMS provides a range of web services including: procurement, people management and document management.
Tafanel has been piloting Elko's solution for the last number of months and will now begin to rollout to its clients.
Elko is a provider of software solutions and services for he European hospitality industry.
Founded in September 2000 by Brian Spain, Ellko to date has received total funding of €3.5m from a number of private investors and from Tafanel, who own 20% of the company.
With offices in Dublin and Paris, Ellko has already secured a number of customers in both France and Ireland.
It is currently in discussion with potential strategic partners in Germany, the UK, Belgium and Holland.
