Percana to launch ECLIPSE Web

Software development company Percana, previously called BOFS, is to launch its latest version of its software product ECLIPSE Web.

Percana specialises in providing solutions to the Life and Pensions Industry and Eclipse is a solution that can be use to manage a wide range of both Life and Pensions products.

Features to be included in the ECLIPSE Web product include policy enquiry and a range of servicing, including cash management, client maintenance and premium management.

Customers of Percana include JREA Rothschild, and the Italian life and pension company Nascent Life.

Percana said that Eclipse is multi-currency and multi-lingual and that it hopes to sign more international contracts in the future.

Percana was founded in 1999 by the present CEO Paul O'Kane and four others.

Revenue in 2001 was €2m, and since it was founded the company has been completely self funding.

However, Paul O'Kane has said that the company may look for funding in the future, to enable growth.

For 2002 the company hopes to obtain net revenues of € 7m.
