EDS signs multi-million euro contract with Marrackech

EDS Ireland has announced it has signed a new services contract with Marrakech.

The contract, which will run for an initial three years, will provide Marrakech with a managed hosting solution for its global services.

The deal is valued in the region of €3m.

The contract was won after a competitive tender involving several other hosting firms.

EDS' proposal offered a hosing platform along with web site management services, capable of delivering the Marrakech network services on a worldwide basis.

The EDS service will be delivered through its Global Web Services facilities.
