Nevada tele.com and BSkyB do interactive services deal

Nevada tele.com and BskyB have made a deal by which Sky' s interactive digital TV subscribers in the Republic will be able to go online to use Sky's interactive services.

These services include e-mail, games and betting but not surfing the net.

Nevada tele.com is to provide services which allow subscribers to go online via a set-top box on their television.

This set-top box will be connected to a customer's standard fixed-line home telephone line.
