Northern Irish electricity group Viridain has sold its 50% stake in telecom business Nevada tele.com to its partner in the joint venture Energis, which now owns 100% of the business.

Energis shares fell in the past few days when the company said that bankers might cancel a loan of more than $1bn (€1.14bn).

Nevada tele.com and BskyB have made a deal by which Sky' s interactive digital TV subscribers in the Republic will be able to go online to use Sky's interactive services.
