Marrakech receive international award

Irish company Marrakech, today announced that it has won the 'Most Innovative Billing" award from Billing Magazine, a publication from PBI Media. Sepro, Marrakech's billing supplier, nominated the company for the award earlier this year.

Billing Magazine's Globe Awards are an annual international awards ceremony dedicated to those companies and individuals in the Billing industry that have demonstrated excellence in the areas of customer service, billing strategies, and the design and implementation of billing systems. The awards are among the most coveted international accolade in billing, having attracted awards submissions from leading billing systems vendors, carriers, service providers and ISP's worldwide.

"The competition this year was tougher than ever," said Farah Heronneau, Event Director for the Billing Magazine Globe Awards 2001. "We received a record number of submissions this year, from businesses from all four corners of the globe - from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands, South America, and South East Asia, to name but a few."
