Datalex board member resigns

Irish company Datalex which provides technology solutions for the global travel industry, has announced that Armin Meier has resigned as non-Executive Director of Datalex.

Mr Meier joined the Datalex Board of Directors in May 2000 while serving as president and CEO of Atraxis Group AG.

Atraxis was one of the participators in the $60m fund raising undertaken by Datalex in mid-2000 and is believed to own about 7% of Datalex.

Atraxis is Swissair's information technology unit and EDS, Electronic Data Systems, has recently signed an agreement to acquire the company.
