ANAM secures deal with South American operator
Dublin-based software company ANAM has secured a contract with the Brazilian mobile operator BCP.
Under the agreement the operator will use ANAM's WirelessWindow SMS software to deliver real-time, personalised, financial information to mobile customers via SMS messaging.
BCP is one of the main Brazilian operators, looking to stimulate the use of SMS messaging in Brazil, a market with huge potential.
After one year in operation it has more than one million subscribers and 45% of the Sao Paolo metropolitan market.
ANAM was founded in 2000 by its CEO Michael Brady, and by Paul Keogh and Louise Murray.
The contract with BCP marks its breakthrough into the South American operator market.
