The Chinese are keen to do business with Northern Ireland companies, representatives of a Belfast-based civil engineering firm claimed in Beijing today.

Jonathan Hegan and Dr Alan Barr of Kirk McClure Morton, an independent engineering consultancy which advises on waste management and the construction of roads and bridges, welcomed the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Chinese on the environment on the last leg of a 10-day trade mission involving 27 Northern Ireland companies.
