Ebookers.com says it has achieved its first-ever profit, despite the impact of the US terror attacks on its business.

Ebookers says it has achieved profitability

Ebookers.com says it has achieved its first-ever profit, despite the impact of the US terror attacks on its business.

The company says it reached a third-quarter gross profit of £200,000, compared with a second-quarter loss of £5.9m.

Ebookers says its pre-tax loss fell by £6m in just one quarter to £2.6m.

The company adds that the first 10 days of September were the strongest in its trading history.
