EDS release Q3 results

Electronic Data Systems Corp has reported a 16% increase in Q3 revenues to $5.6bn.

Net income grew by 20% to $334m, compared with $279m a year ago.

Q3 earnings per share were $0.59, slightly above analyst expectations.

The world's number two computer services provider after IBM said it expected continued profit growth in the foreseeable future despite the weaker overall U.S. economy.

The company employs 400 people in the centre of Dublin and may increase this number in the near future.
