CardBASE forges new relationship

At Cartes 2001 in Paris, Dublin company CardBASE announced a strategic OEM relationship with UbiQ Inc, to bring together the CardBASE multi-applications smart card management system and UbiQ's suite of personalisation software.

The decision of CardBASE to integrate UbiQ's personalisation and key management products allows for the migration of magnetic stripe card issuers to smart card based systems.
