Nycomed Ireland has changed its name to Amersham Health.

Its parent company, based in the UK, becomes Amersham plc.

The firm employs 350 at its plant in Carrigtohill, Co. Cork.

Amersham Health is a world leader in making specialized products for research-based biotechnology.

It has annual sales of £1.4bn and 8,900 employees world wide.
