Dundalk computer plant to lay off 36 workers

A computer parts manufacturer is to lay off 36 workers in Dundalk, Co Louth.

Keytronic Europe announced its intention today to close its facility by the end of this year because of the cancellation of several orders.

A small number of staff will remain in the sales and marketing divisions of the company.
