Investors were given an early boost today as the FTSE 100 Index of blue-chip stocks reversed almost all of the losses recorded on Friday.

Investors were given an early boost today as the FTSE 100 Index of blue-chip stocks reversed almost all of the losses recorded on Friday.

After nearly two hours trading, the Footsie was ahead 95.3 points at 4529 as traders went in search of bargains following last week’s falls.
