Poor sentiment from US hits Footsie 100
The Footsie index of 100 leading stock has fallen 33.9 points to stand at 5400.8 at mid-morning as poor sentiment from the US hits trading on the London market.
Anglo-Dutch communications services group CMG is providing some good news, surging ahead by 15% or 31¾p to 245¼p after reporting better-than-expected results and saying there were signs of a pick-up in demand for its text-message technology.
