Vodafone chief receives 407% pay boost

Vodafone bosses have awarded themselves a massive pay boost, with the group's chief executive winning a 407% pay rise.

Chris Gent has seen his pay rocket to £6.88m from £1.358m. Other Vodafone executives, including Peter Bamford, Julian Horn-Smith and Ken Hydon, saw their total pay packages increase by a similar amount in the year to March 31.
