Eircell sale to Vodafone 'disingenous'

Senator Shane Ross has accused the board of Eircom of being disingenuous over the sale of Eircell to Vodafone.

Speaking at the Eircom E.G.M. taking place this afternoon in Dublin, Sen Ross - who is acting as a spokesperson for some shareholders - dismissed the recommendation of analysts Merrill Lynch that the company be sold.
