Nestle boss says profits and sales will continue to grow

Nestle board president Rainer Gut says he expects net profit and sales to continue to grow in 2001, barring unforeseeable events.

Speaking at the Swiss food group's annual press conference, Mr Gut says the prospects for the current full year look "comparatively good", adding that he anticipates continuing growth and a good financial result.
