The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises association has called for more representation for small businesses on the new Irish financial regulatory service authority.

ISME said small firms are being completely ignored by the new body in favour of larger organisations.

Spokesman John McGreal said ISME also wants the area of bank overcharging tackled by the authority.
