The Dow Jones industrials have scored their second straight triple-digit gain, rising 182.75 to close at 9,687.53.

The Dow Jones industrials have scored their second straight triple-digit gain, rising 182.75 to close at 9,687.53.

Meanwhile the Nasdaq was down 10.19 at 1,918.49, while the Standard & Poor's 500, rose 12.86 to 1,152.69.
