Phone job cuts reports are 'speculative'

Reports that mobile phone giant Motorola is preparing to axe almost 4,000 jobs in Scotland are "entirely speculative", the Scottish Executive insists .

Enterprise minister Wendy Alexander met senior company representatives last week and is monitoring the situation, an executive spokesman says.
