City registers US interest rates disappointment
The FTSE-100 Index has tumbled again as the City registered its disappointment with Alan Greenspan's decision to cut US interest rates by 0.5%.
At the close of trading the Footsie was off a sorry 106.1 points at 5540.7 - the lowest since the middle of December 1998.
