One plane airline among best in world
An airline with just one plane and a boss who waves passengers off at the runway has been voted among the best in the world.
Palmair European flies from Bournemouth to Europe and North Africa 14 times a week.
It beat every other airline in the survey except Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines.
Apart from the personal touch provided by the airline's founder, Peter Bath, a full row of seats has been removed so all the passengers have more legroom.
The survey was carried out by Holiday Which? magazine.
Mr Bath, aged 72, thinks he has waved off 16,000 flights, he said: "Getting up early six mornings each week to greet departing passengers comes as second nature to me."
