Virgin Blue, the Australian low budget airline set up by Sir Richard Branson, has lodged a complaint of unfair competition against Qantas Airways.

Virgin Blue has complained to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, alleging that Qantas had increased service on flights between Brisbane and Adelaide after Virgin Blue announced a big jump in its services on the route.
