Car workers to stage Euro-wide day of action

Car workers across Europe will stage a day of action this week ranging from strikes to a mass sickie to protest at the ending of car production at one of Vauxhall's UK factories.

Workers employed by General Motors, will stage a day of action to demonstrate against the closure of the Luton Assembly plant and at job losses elsewhere in Europe.
