Careers 2017: Voxpro - steady growth of an Irish-owned multinational

Speaking at the recent opening of the company’s first Dublin office, which will employ 400 staff, Voxpro co-founder and CEO Dan Kiely said the firm has taken full ownership of its Mahon headquarters and will have the capacity to add 400 extra jobs there over the next 12 months.

The company, which provides outsourcing services in the areas of customer services, technical support and sales solutions to global brands like Google and AirBnB, already employs more than 1,500 people in Cork. The 400 Dublin jobs, due to come on stream over the next 18 months, will boost its Irish workforce to almost 2,000 and its global staff numbers to 3,000.

Voxpro has two facilities in the US, the most recent a €4m centre of excellence in Athens, Georgia, US, which opened in August and which will house more than 500 staff by 2020.

The company has plans to grow its global footprint further in 2017, looking at expansion into markets including Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe.

“What we are witnessing here is the growth of an Irish-owned multinational,” said Simon Coveney, Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, who went on to describe Voxpro as an “inspiration” for young Irish entrepreneurs in having demonstrated one can “grow and conquer the world if they’re good enough”.

Positions currently open at Voxpro include:

  • DUBLIN: VP sales operations; VP business development; HR business partner.
  • CORK: International operations director; learning and development business partner; facilities technician; L& D systems and project specialist Cork/Dublin; senior TA consultant; sales associates, German; multilingual technical support.

As part of the 2017 Airbnb growth, Voxpro will have 167 English customer service roles coming on stream also.
