Limerick’s BHSL names ex-Kerry Group chief executive Denis Brosnan chairman

Limerick’s BHSL, which has developed a technology for poultry farmers to generate power from waste, has named high-level appointments, including Denis Brosnan, Padraig McManus, and Fidelma Macken.

The appointments come as BHSL aims to raise €7m through a new equity drive to increase sales overseas.

Mr Brosnan — the former chief executive of Kerry Group — becomes chairman, while Mr McManus, the former ESB chief executive, and retired Supreme Court judge Ms Macken both join the board as non-executive directors.
