Vodafone Ireland Q1 revenue hits €242m

Vodafone’s Irish unit recorded a 2.8% increase in service revenue in the 12 months to the end of June having posted Q1 revenue of €242m.

The mobile operator’s Irish arm was boosted by strong year-on-year growth of 10.7% in its broadband customer base along with an increase in the number of mobile customers opting for contract over prepay plans.

Vodafone Ireland chief executive Anne O’Leary said changes to its product offering has given customers more choice which in turn has driven growth.
