Green light in sight for Ballsbridge office plan

The way may soon be clear for Dublin City Council to give developer Johnny Ronan planning permission for a €200m office block development at Ballsbridge.

Green light in sight for Ballsbridge office plan

This follows the City Council raising only traffic and servicing issues over Mr Ronan’s two office block development, which will be six storeys high, with three or more levels of basement.

The site will cover 52,247 sq m — more than five times the gross floor area of the existing four office blocks that are going to be demolished. The promoters of the plan say that the campus opposite the RDS in Ballsbridge will have the capacity to accommodate 2,200 workers. AIB and An Taisce were just two of the parties to lodge objections against the plan.
